In 2015 we had our first Cancer Support Draw. Thanks to thousands of people who bought and sold tickets, we raised $70,000 for the Terry Ames Care Fund. This Charity supports families in Northern Ontario who are fighting Cancer by offering financial support. Since 2012 we have raised over $130,000 from our golf tournaments, donations, book sales and the Cancer Support Draw and helped over 100 local families. As the awareness of the Fund grows so does the demand for raising money for these families.
We are very excited to announce the 2017 Cancer Support Draw. Thanks to the generosity of Crosstown Chevrolet, we are able to offer the Grand prize winner the choice of a full size GMC Sierra Elevation Edition Crew Cab or a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Black Out Edition. Each of these trucks is worth $46,710.
The Draw date is July 20th, 2017 which is my official “Cancer Free Day”. That is the day I was told my cancer was gone. My family and I celebrate this special day every year. This year we get to celebrate with all the the lucky winners of the big draw!
